Days 9 + 10: Füssen (A Shrine to Marshy)
Traveling from Munich to Füssen didn't take the entire day (which was nice), so we were able to spend the majority of the afternoon at our spot it Füssen. Thankfully, that first day was a beautiful, sunny one, so we swam in the "natural pool" which was located in the back of our hotel and enjoyed the sunshine.
So pretty!
Here, Marshal is trying to convince these German tourists that there are leeches in the natural pool. It was confirmed later, by the hotel owner, that there are indeed leeches in there. He said, "They keep the pool clean!"
Marsh thought it was a good idea to apply sunscreen without his sweet girlfriend around.
The next day, we were greeted with overcast skies and a bit of rain, but we still made it to the cable car which takes visitors up to Tegelburg Mountain. On this little excursion, we got to see Neuschwanstein Castle, the castle which inspired Disney's Cinderella Castle.
Marsh wore his Germany soccer jersey this day because they played Mexico in the World Cup.
