Mom's Weekend in Sunriver
At the end of March, a handful of my high school girls and I spent the weekend in Sunriver, OR. For the most part, it was a kid-free weekend for those who are moms, but Lani’s babe, Scout, had no conflicting plans and was able to make the trip. 😇 So, it was a handful of us 30-something ladies and a small baby just wildin’ out all weekend.
To me, the trip was unique because the cabin we stayed in was actually owned by my parents when I was younger! Many things were the same, so that was cool. My main goals for the trip were:
laughing and catching up with the girls 🤣
drinking wine 🍷
soaking in the hot tub 💦-and-
convincing Lani’s baby that I’m the best aunt 🤔
… and well, we can consider most those things accomplished, so it was a successful weekend!
The cabin, Grizzly Lane #6 😍
Hot tub shenanigans
We planned to bike around the river loop, but we had to cut the trip short because of the snow.
All us girls! 💕
Trouble since middle school 😈
Lani and Scout just being sweet, baby angels 😇
Obligatory trip to Goody’s! 🍦
Though Scout was likely not convinced that I’m the coolest aunt by the end of the trip, I’m holding out that we will have more girls-only adventures like this! 💕
