Marsh + Elyse: Engagement Photos

So, before this outing, Marshal and I had never had our photos professionally taken. Both nervous and excited, I knew it was something I wanted to document the year of our engagement, and while Marshal wasn’t necessarily on my level with this, he really pulled through here. 😁 Prior to the shoot, we grabbed a quick drink in Stevenson, WA, then met up with our photographer at Marsh’s family’s lake. Below are a handful of photos from the shoot, which were taken by Amy of Love Lit Photography.

These were taken relatively early on in the photo shoot, so we were still working out the awkwardness. I am so glad we chose Marsh’s family’s boat, though! Our photographer, 8 months pregnant and braving the freezing October weather, was a true badass. She stood up in the boat, as it was rocking back and forth, to capture some of our favorite shots.

This one is so casual, and again, one of my favorites! As I was scrolling through all the images, I quickly realized I am not a fan of the full-on kissing ones. Like, get those outta here.
